Born and raised in São Paulo - Brazil, Syndel now is an expat in North Carolina, United States.
Growing up, her family owned farms in the countryside area of the state where she would climb trees, help her uncle with the cows and hens, and she loved horseback riding. Still do.
Graduated in International Relations and worked in several multinationals throughout her life, Syndel found herself in love with the Coffee Industry while in Brazil, as a hobby. She then dedicated to learn about variety, processing, cupping and exporting.
The idea of investing the coffee industry came when she realized that the secret of a good quality coffee was something known only by a few people. Her mission to educate the population had started, she believes everyone deserves good quality products and, after all, coffee is food.
After 3 years of planning and studying the market, the brand Mitra Coffee was finally launched!
Syndel engage in causes such as gender equity since she was 15 years old, contributing with a fair environment for all.
